Mr. Brody has been in the Venture Capital industry since 1985 and is a Managing Director emeritus at Redpoint Ventures, a firm he co-founded in 1999. In this role, he has been fortunate to invest in many dedicated entrepreneurs and help them build successful businesses in a broad range of technology industries.  He is a former chair of the Venture Capital subcommittee of the Stanford Business School Trust. Early in his career, Mr. Brody was a field engineer working in Africa and Europe, and cofounded a mobile communications company.

Mr. Brody holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
